Key Responsibilities

Database Management:

Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Database versions 12c and 19c, including applying related updates and patches.
Manage and configure WebLogic 12c application servers.

Performance Tuning:

Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure fast and efficient operations.

Backup and Recovery:

Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN to ensure data protection and availability.

Security Management:

Establish and enforce database security policies, including user access controls and data encryption.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, providing technical support to users and IT teams.

Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and policies.

Collaboration:

Work closely with application developers, system administrators, and other technical teams to ensure database stability and integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and management tools.
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, with solid experience in database design, backup, and recovery systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience in Oracle Forms & Reports development is preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
